Survey Consult (Land Surveyors) is an International Geomatics consultancy firm registered and incorporated in Uganda in 1983. providing services in Engineering, Topographical Cadastral, Land acquisition and Land development facilities.
We provide photogrammetric digital mapping, aerial photography, remote sensing, digital mapping from satellite imagery, Global Positioning Survey systems, setting out of construction works, base mapping and revisions, resource assessment and land use planning and secondment of specialized staff.
The company has its Headquarters in Uganda; it is one of the biggest survey firms in Uganda fully equipped with a photogrammetric laboratory including Wild BC3, Analytical Digital Stereo with TA10S, electronic flat bed and up-to-date Digital Data processing facility with all accessories and software for aerial triangulation, line mapping interactive aerial digital mapping and editing, mapping from spot satellite imagery plus other adequate photogrammetric facilities.
Equipment:
The company has nine sets (9) Ashtech XII, eight sets (8) of Ashtec Locus and three (3) Leica Geodetic GPS complete with full range software for all GPS application. We are also equipped with Leica, Topcon, Sokkia, self recording Total Stations. Survey data management software’s including AutoCAD 2015, AutoCAD Land Development, AutoCivil, ArcGIS, ArcMap, PATM, CVD, GPPS, MP, and Ashtec Solutions GPS Mission Planning, Locus Project Management, Arc-Info, Arc-view, Geocomp, Liscad and Wildsoft, TMAP, all Digital mapping software.
Our drawing office is fully equipped with adequate HP Designjet plotters and user friendly in-house developed software for all survey computation.
A stand by Diesel Generator and a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) capable of supplying power to all our computers, printers and light whenever there is any mains power disruptions in our Kampala offices.
Transport:
There is adequate transport facilities which include six 4 Wheel drive Toyota Hilux Double-Cabin Pick –ups and one (1) Defender 110 Land Rover.
Staff:
The Kampala office has very highly qualified staff headed by the Managing Director who is a Registered Land Surveyor, who is the former Chairman to the Uganda Surveyors Board of Uganda (SRB). And Vice-President to the Institution of Surveyors of Uganda. The staff is capable of handling any magnitude work anywhere in the continent of Africa.
